What’s on at the Festival

The Gloucestershire Festival of Polo is famously known to be a great family day out with plenty of displays and entertainment to keep the children happy. We also host a well attended ‘after-party’ on the Saturday night in our clubhouse, for those who wish to keep the party going and celebrate the polo that day. 

Our NFU arena is located in the centre of the shopping village and is host to plenty of demonstrations, displays and meet and greets across both days. 

This year the NFU Arena hosted: 

  • A Polo Demo – for a better understanding of the game before the international matches. 
  • Gundog Demo by Strigidae Gundogs 
  • Falconry Display – an immersive display where you can help the team
  • Meet the RAC Beagles – come into the arena and meet the gorgeous Beagles 
  • Meet the Shetlands – meet the team of Shetland Ponies after there races on our HMA Tax No. 1 Ground 
  • Have a Go Polo – have a go at using a polo mallet from the ground

While all this is going on we have a vintage funfair for you to enjoy, a brilliant array of shops and of course plenty of Polo. 

The Gloucestershire Festival of Polo really is the all round day out to enjoy with friends and family!
